You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a subscription.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a subscription.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!

Y'know, I used to worry about that as well but eventually I found there was no point in caring at all... once I got out of the house and away from the PC and got some RL friends I stopped being bothered by anything on DA particularly
It's just that I couldn't wait to fill my gallery up and the art started to become to much to do with DA instead of focusing on how to do it right. DA is too addictive! I think this break is working though, as I've started to actually go back and fix things for the first time and I'm working harder at it.
Yeah, having a break is never a bad idea!
DA is addictive, I think the key is to just realise that it doesn't matter, and no one really cares all THAT much about your art - I don't mean that in an unkind way - but no one will focus on your gallery the way you do, they care as much about your gallery as you do about theirs, and if you do something stupid, no one really cares or holds it against you :\
Though I thought you had left because you didn't agree with DA's policies..? :\
